The MOMS Club of Clayton, NC (serving Clayton and surrounding areas of Johnston County) began on August 24, 1992 and Clayton was the first ever North Carolina chapter. We would like to invite all the moms who are new to the area or new to being a mommy to come visit our club at one of our daily events or monthly meetings.

MOMS is an acronym for Moms Offering Moms Support. It is a national non-profit civic group for mothers who have chosen to stay at home with their children, including those who work part time or out of their homes. The MOMS Club of Clayton, NC offers friendship and support. It is open to mothers of all ages along with their children. OUR MISSION: We are dedicated to the embodiment of our motto, “Encouraging mothers locally; transforming families globally.” We feel that mothers are the cornerstones of our society. Hence, investing in ways to encourage mothers is one of the most powerful ways to positively affect our families and society. We know from our own personal experiences the positive outcomes that transpire when mothers come together and feel understood, supported and encouraged by other mothers. When we have the opportunity to form supportive friendships for ourselves and our children, we then have more capabilities and resources to positively affect our own families.

In turn, we can reach beyond ourselves, to improve the families in our communities. We are able to offer community assistance via our partnership with the nationwide charity, Habitat for Humanity. As more clubs join us across the nation, we can transform families globally.
